Questions to ask Legislators

Beaver, muskrats and

coyotes issues are costing

people and taxpayers a lot of

money that could be better

used elsewhere; if a wildlife

management bill was

introduced with the full

support of our state

wildlife professionals and

leadership would you sponsor

it, actively support it, and

advocate for it in the

legislature.

Best Management Practices (BMP's) are intended to inform the public about harvesting equipment an its capturing system which are considered to be the state of the art in animal welfare. Through the use of BMP's guidelines, then someone who behaves fairly in observing rules can continue to play an important role in Wildlife management programs across Massachusetts and with administration codes that will allow a direction plan for healthy natural resources and a vigorous wildlife population along with a balance approach to its Solutions.

Public support is critical
Our goal is to educate the public about the supervision of our natural resources, known as wildlife. To encourage the public to vote in upcoming elections against the deceptive advertising methods use by highly paid lobbyist who try to convince them that harvesting furbearers is wrong.
Most wildlife species including furbearers produce more young annually than can survive, and a good management programs allow for the harvest of their excess numbers.

•Harvesting furbearers keep many disease free because of      over population.
•Harvesting furbearers keep our pets from becoming a meal.
•Harvesting furbearers helps keep property damage down        because of over inhabitants.
•Harvesting furbearers allows poor families to feast on              organic food.
•Harvesting furbearers allows poor families to add additional    income to their home budget
•Harvesting furbearers allows for needeys' pet food.
